TESTIMONIALS
“Breeanna has been an absolute game changer for both of our recent films. Her talent not only speaks for itself, but her professionalism and ability to adapt on set makes it easy to work with her, even in intense schedules. Her creative and problem solving process let’s us focus on our job, knowing Breeanna can not only achieve any makeup and/or FX, but go above and beyond. Chatting with her early in each process was so eye opening, and allowed for a much better product in the end. Her creativity and passion for the art shows in every aspect of makeup + hair, and the attention to detail was mind blowing. Going forward, she will always be on top of our “must call” list of crew.”
“It was a joy working with Breeanna on our film, The Shuroo Process. She maintained a positive attitude during the most strenuous moments of production and managed to do a fantastic job even with some short turnaround times. I would recommend her to any production looking for a talented artist who's great to work with."
“It was summertime. We were making a brand film for a Fortune 100 company in New York City. I was out location scouting, and stopped to get lunch and check messages. I had a doozie: the veteran makeup artist I'd worked with on some big projects told me she'd suffered a breakdown and was quitting the business. Effective now. This business can be tough, I get that. I began to search for a new HMUA. I wanted more than someone who'd show up and do the gig at hand. There's lots of people who can do the job. I wanted someone who was very skilled and talented who also cared. Someone who'd see something that needed doing and do it without complaining or even expecting a thank you (I know I've missed giving a few well-earned "thank you's" on busy shoots). Someone I could trust to keep her department under control while dealing with high-powered "C-Suite Level" clients who might be a little unaccustomed to being filmed. And yet, someone who also brings the level of performance and artistry you'd expect from a HMUA on a feature film. I have high standards. I found Breeanna Nichols. Breeanna is young, but she's an old soul. She's the complete package and everything I want and need in a top-flight HMUA. I've learned to trust her completely, and she's never let me down. If I could clone her, I would.”

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Breeanna on a handful of projects. The majority of our work is in the commercial and corporate space, and we’ve hired her as an MUA to prep high-level corporate executives for camera. Her work is precise and clean, adds quality to our images - but her overall demeanor and presence on our sets is particularly noteworthy. She’s extremely calm under pressure, which as an MUA on a corporate shoot is important as you typically go from 0 - 60 having to make talent look their best with a limited amount of time in the chair. She’s also very selfless and conscientious - recognizing one executive she was working with in particular was in a rush - and she proactively suggested doing his make-up on-set to tighten up the process. On a big shoot or small, it’s this kind of proactivity and thoughtfulness that producers and directors value - someone thinking for themselves and meeting an unforeseen need to make the whole production run smoother.”
“The versatility of Breeanna's talents from glamorous hair and make-up to gory special-FX will add value to any project and make her a key asset on any production.”
“Breeanna is a superstar! I have had the pleasure of working with Breeanna on numerous weddings the last couple of years and she has always been incredibly communicative, motivated, prompt and excellent at what she does! She always has had a stocked kit, pristine working space, and most importantly a true gift of working with each client to give them the look they adore while being a truly kind and caring human. I have loved having her as part of my team!”
“Breeanna's versatile talents on the production of Tyler Rubenfeld's latest film PLANETS was invaluable to the success of the project. Her ability to transition from HMU to FX make-up, and everything in between, made her an on-set force that is very rare to work with.”
"I had never worked with a hair/makeup person before and Breeanna more than exceeded my expectations! I came to her with an idea for stylized makeup for two characters in a dream sequence. I sketched out a wacky drawing of what I was looking for, but I didn't have the HMU knowhow to know what was possible. She was able to adapt that wacky drawing into something visually arresting and truly memorable. She was lovely to work with, easy to talk to, and I can't recommend her services enough!”
“Breeanna is a total team player with a great attitude and skill to match. She was Department Head for Makeup/Hair on my feature and I would definitely work with her again!”
