“Makeup was* (keyword) literally a foreign language to me. I never could figure out what products were right or wrong and every time I tried to figure it out, it was so overwhelming, expensive, and such an epic failure, I would give up, refusing to wear anything but mascara…. that is until I found Bree.
When Bree and I met for my one-on-one she came over to my house, met with me and helped match and find things I didn’t even know existed: skin tones, skin maps, color wheels, like I said, it’s another language. Nonetheless, after she did her thing, together we went through my crusty ole bag of makeup and she showed me what needed to go and what should stay (who knew free samples of makeup didn’t last 6 years?)
After that, I added on a personalized shopping experience. I mean, what’s the point of all of this if I don’t know what to buy myself? That being said.. originally, the shopping scared me almost as much as putting on the makeup but this quickly ended up being one of my favorite parts! Bree gave me so many options and never pressured me to spend money.. I think it was the first time I ever felt comfortable in a makeup store. As we walked around, Bree showed me different products based on my maps, the products I had at home, and some of the things I needed, using the back of my hand or cheek to confirm colors, or see if I liked the texture. As we found things I liked, she would suggest a product or two, as well as different sizes, giving me the opportunity to spend as much as I was comfortable with at the time. As we wrapped up my session, Bree walked me through a full application, coaching me through each step, one by one, using my old and new products.
It has been about a week or so now, and while I am still fighting with fake eyelashes, I can confidently say, I have both a day to day, and weekend ‘glam’ look coming together that are both solid enough to leave the house in. Makeup definitely takes practice, but Bree is an absolute magician. She is patient, kind, and down-to-earth. The entire time we were together, it felt like hanging out with a girlfriend. While I learned a lot, I also feel like I have had my confidence restored, something I did not expect to happen. I cannot say enough good things about what Bree offers—whether it is for yourself, a group of girlfriends, a little something special, or a big event.. just do it. ”

“I realized that I somehow grew to full adulthood without learning how to wear makeup correctly and decided that I would find a professional to help me fix that. Breeanna’s union membership caught my eye right away and once we had an initial consult/video chat, I hoped she’d be the right person to help.And she was! She not only took me shopping and made suggestions for skincare and makeup to buy, within my budget, she then taught me how to apply all of it and left me with how-to sheets so I can do it myself daily.
